Macbook Pro; Bootcamp win 7 plugged in, not charging?

so my my macbook is on windows 7 64 bit through bootcamp, and its not charging. It is stuck on "plugged in, not charging. Im not sure what to do as the osx el capitan side chargers fine. any suggestions? Thanks

Please check System Profiler -> Power for Battery condition. I will see similar behavior on both OS X and Windows, but within a few minutes, it starts charging.


If you use the MagSafe-to-MagSafe2 adapter, please ensure the pins are clean and are sitting properly. Try wiggling the connection gently, till the power adapter LED lights up.
